Bays Mountain Dam Crew

Pre-Park History

From the early 1800’s to mid 1900’s, Bays Mountain was home to several families who lived and worked there. Life on the mountain included a mill, 2 schools, and even a church. But by the early 1900’s, the modern world began to creep into mountain life there.
